Swimming pool safety is an area where The European Union
Laws are regularly reviewed.
In fact, since May 2004, new regulations have been in
force in France and apply to all privately owned buried
or partially buried swimming pools. Any private swimming
pool owner who does not comply with these regulations
faces a fine of up to €45,000.
Guardian’s fence and gate system has passed rigorous
tests and is certified to meet
French regulations
for
swimming pool enclosures.
France is the first (and
only) European country we are aware of to pass a
NATIONWIDE LAW requiring specific safety products
designed to prevent pool drownings.
